Making | It is the result of the maceration of various plants (such as star anise, anethole, and licorice) in alcohol. Over several days, the natural aromas are slowly released in the alcohol, which gives it its rich anise flavor, this melting step being crucial for its elaboration. Then, water and sugar are added to the result, which reduces the alcohol in volume of the appetizer to 45%. The mixture is stored in tanks, filtered and bottled. |
